Virtcom Consulting Announces
CEO Keynote
NEW YORK -- Virtcom Consulting CEO Douglas Freeman served as a Keynote Panelist at the European Union Commission's Diversity Conference, December 11th and 12th. The invitation only conference brings together Europe's leading diversity experts, policymakers and business schools to discuss new research around diversity innovation.
Nearly 160 participants representing 27 EU nations were present. The conference explored the impact of diversity on large employers, small business and business schools, and focused on the direct linkages between diversity, innovation and creativity. Leading speakers included the Minister of Integration and Social Cohesion from France and the EU Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Equalities (equivalent to the US Secretary of Labor).
Diversity, Creativity and Innovation Research
Mr. Freeman noted that "the caliber of the research and breadth of EU MBA Business Schools activities around diversity and innovation was compelling. I can honestly note that I was riveted and eagerly attended every single session."
Mr. Freeman was the only conference representative invited from the United States, and spoke on the panel which discussed diversity and innovation. Mr. Freeman's presentation explored the evolution of the Business Case for Diversity, The Virtcom 5 Forces of Diversity ROI, The Virtcom Value Chain, and officially unveiled the first ever European Union Diversity ROI audit case study.
Based upon anecdotal conference feedback from leading corporate participants, Mr. Freeman's presentation was viewed as one of the most insightful and innovative at the conference. This is the second year that Mr. Freeman has presented at the EU Commission, which follows his 2007 keynote at the invitation only EU Ethnic Minority Conference in Brussels.
